To provide a full clarification there are seven branches of the Uniformed Services of the United States of America.
The other three branches of the United States Uniformed Services aren't always "armed". There is the Commissioned Corps of the Public Health Service under the direct command of the Surgeon General; The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, under the Secretary of Commerce; and of course the United States Coast Guard, under the Secretary of Homeland Security which is both armed and uniformed.
We are still awaiting a response from each as to whether or not Don't Ask, Don't Tell applies to the latter three.
F6 has several articles and commentaries regarding Gays In The Military. As an issue of editorial policy, F6 will challenge any assertion that Don't Ask, Don't Tell is either Constitutional or proper policy in this country, the land of the free and the home of the brave!
